Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) stimulates more collagen production than PDLLA, and PLANITI’s particles, a mix of microsphere (MS) and irregular shapes, help reduce complications associated with PLLA, such as granuloma, while ensuring a safer application.
As a result of the histopathological evaluation, immediately after injection to 48 weeks, fibroblasts migrated and proliferated microparticles, and numerous nuclei were observed. The level of inflammation improved from moderate up to 4 weeks to mild inflammation after 4 weeks. The inflammation and foreign body reaction of PLANITI were equally or safely read.
When inserting the needle into the deep dermal plane, the needle angle should be adjusted to 10-20 degrees.
Then, advance the needle parallel to the skin surface in the deep dermal layer.
Inject the PLANITI dermal filler parallel to the contour of the skin.
Start the first injection at the base of the treatment point and proceed with additional injections in a radial pattern.
This ensures an even distribution for optimal and consistent results.
